About the Role
A lovely florist shop in San Francisco’s beautiful Noe Valley neighborhood is hiring a Social Media Manager. They are a boutique florist shop passionate about creating beautiful arrangements that brighten lives and celebrate special moments and are looking for a Part-Time Social Media Manager to help them showcase that beauty with the world online! If you’re creative, love storytelling, and have an eye for aesthetics, this role is for you. 📷
No prior social media manager experience? No problem. Show us what you’ve got!
This is a hybrid part-time position that someone is able to balance along side other employment. Hours are flexible and range from 5-15 hours per week.
What You’ll Do
✨ Develop and manage social media content calendar across Instagram (potentially implement new social media channels like Pinterest as well!)
✨ Photograph and film arrangements, events, and behind-the-scenes floral magic
✨ Create engaging content (posts, stories, reels, videos) that showcases our flowers and shop personality
✨ Write fun, authentic captions that connect with our community
✨ Engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and local community groups
✨ Track analytics and suggest new ideas to grow our audience and reach
✨ Brainstorm and implement creative, fun, sales generating strategies
What We’re Looking For:
🌼 A creative storyteller with photography and/or video skills
🌼 Experience with different social media platforms
🌼 Strong writing skills and an eye for design
🌼 A people-person who loves building online communities
🌼 Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple platforms and projects
🌼 Someone who enjoys autonomy! – Needs little direction and enjoys brainstorming and implementing ideas from start to finish
